Douro International Natural Park  :  Protected Nature Area

The Douro International natural Park includes the rivers Douro and Águeda, but also the rivers banks extended to the municipalities of Figueira Castelo Rodrigo, Freixo de Espada à Cinta, Miranda do Douro and Mogadouro.

The landscape of Douro Valley gives the identity to this natural protect area. In this area we can find some biodiversity of animals (eagles, vultures) and plants (olive groves and almond trees).
